WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT MASK FIT-TESTING?

Fit-testing has changed rapidly in the last 20 years. Historically, to perform a fit test, testers would use the Ambient Aerosol method. To perform these fit tests, testers and fit test subjects would have to create dirty environments before the device would perform the test. Unless you light several candles or beat dirty rugs, you will not be able to perform a fit test.

OHD created a device that uses air as the test agent, the Quantifit. There are smaller particles that may penetrate the mask that could enter the mask in the Ambient Aerosol method. Our patented controlled negative pressure (CNP) generates a challenge pressure that is equivalent to the harshest of environments.
